The MOTILONES FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when MOTILONES FC's Etor Borinaga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, KARASUNO FC's Favila Gandulla got a free kick in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, KARASUNO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco-Antonio Etcheverry came free, but Gauargi Lereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, KARASUNO FC's Gauargi Lereira got control of the ball when Rodrigo De Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Timoteo Inchausti fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARASUNO FC's protests and gave Timoteo Inchausti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KARASUNO FC's Timoteo Inchausti got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 29th minute, when MOTILONES FC's Leandro Nurueña after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Gauargi Lereira in KARASUNO FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Marco-Antonio Etcheverry scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gauargi Lereira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gauargi Lereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco-Antonio Etcheverry in the 38th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Balbas to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Raimundo Cordal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo De Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marco-Antonio Etcheverry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Marco-Antonio Etcheverry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gauargi Lereira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marin Balbas struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Vincent Graells didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KARASUNO FC. KARASUNO FC's Marin Balbas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Raimundo Cordal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vincent Graells, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, KARASUNO FC's Corderro Salces got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MOTILONES FC's zone, Raimundo Cordal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Graells came out of the goal and Raimundo Cordal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, MOTILONES FC's Etor Borinaga got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rodrigo De Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauargi Lereira having to interfere. Gauargi Lereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo De Paul in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes KARASUNO FC got a freekick which was hit by Lopes Menor. Ramiro Hermosilla kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Marco-Antonio Etcheverry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gauargi Lereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Rodrigo De Paul struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Gauargi Lereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MOTILONES FC. KARASUNO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
