Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Matapalito's Jairo Caras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Alessandro Lerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tulio Armendarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faron Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Zigor Nuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Jairo Caras put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Koldobika Oyuelos. When Zigor Nuño came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Asalta cunas fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zigor Nuño couldn't finish the play. Matapalito's Tulio Armendarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Lerin in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Alessandro Lerin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asalta cunas fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Matapalito getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cebo Millares hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Asalta cunas fc got a freekick which was hit by Kimetz Arcos. In the 26th minute, Otsando Marti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Matapalito's goal looked a bit too open when Hernandez Urquicia came free, but Tulio Armendarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rami Montealegre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Lerin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tulio Armendarez having to interfere. The Asalta cunas fc fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Asalta cunas fc's Alessandro Lerin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Lerin was the one to do the kick off. Alessandro Lerin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Tulio Armendarez made a huge save. Tadeu Liñan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Koldobika Oyuelos. Asalta cunas fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jairo Caras scored 2-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Koldobika Oyuelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Alessandro Lerin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asalta cunas fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Tulio Armendarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rami Montealegre in the 70th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Asalta cunas fc's Rami Montealegre made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tulio Armendarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Asalta cunas fc booed when Matapalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otsando Marti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tulio Armendarez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alessandro Lerin's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Tulio Armendarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Lerin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Otsando Marti made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Asalta cunas fc's Elixio Usabiaga. Rami Montealegre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cebo Millares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldobika Oyuelos having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Faron Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Asalta cunas fc's Hernandez Urquicia got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cebo Millares kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Koldobika Oyuelos came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Matapalito's Jairo Caras. But to his dismay, Jairo Caras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. When the match was over Asalta cunas fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Matapalito throughout the match.
