Lop Gallaiztegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caradaro Ascarraga in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Real Madrid C.F's Emilio Barcaiztegui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lop Gallaiztegui. Lop Gallaiztegui yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Barcaiztegui in the 30th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Lop Gallaiztegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phelipe Villalcazar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silban Paderniga. There was no doubt that Real Madrid C.F were the better team. Real Madrid C.F's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
