Hernandez Urquicia struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Taio Godinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asalta cunas fc. Rami Montealegre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Asalta cunas fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Gaxan Fondos came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the X-TREME FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaxan Fondos couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Conrado Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Asalta cunas fc's zone, Dominix Capetillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koldobika Oyuelos came out of the goal and Dominix Capetillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominix Capetillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Asalta cunas fc got a freekick which was hit by Rami Montealegre. Asalta cunas fc's Koldobika Oyuelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Asalta cunas fc from getting a goal against them. Koldobika Oyuelos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Oskitz Velicia sent off a good shot on target. Zigor Nuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Taio Godinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Lerin in the 66th minute of play forced X-TREME FC's goalkeeper Taio Godinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Asalta cunas fc getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Conrado Mejia hit a great ball. Elixio Usabiaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Alessandro Lerin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asalta cunas fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Lerin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taio Godinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Taio Godinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigor Nuño in the 75th minute of the match. Taio Godinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rami Montealegre in the 76th minute of play. Oskitz Velicia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldobika Oyuelos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Lerin in the 83rd minute of play forced X-TREME FC's goalkeeper Taio Godinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by X-TREME FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rami Montealegre was slow to take the kick. During this time Asalta cunas fc's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Alessandro Lerin drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind X-TREME FC's goalkeeper. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Asalta cunas fc! Oskitz Velicia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some careless play in the X-TREME FC defense, Conrado Mejia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taio Godinez. The X-TREME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taio Godinez should have stopped the shot.
