MOTILONES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matapalito the free kick. A collision led to MOTILONES FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leandro Nurueña hit a great ball. Matapalito's Jairo Caras got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rodrigo De Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MOTILONES FC's Vincent Graells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Caras in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Caras in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Graells saved MOTILONES FC from getting behind. Vincent Graells didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Matapalito's Jairo Caras shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Matapalito's Jairo Caras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vincent Graells. That made the score 2-4 after 86 minutes of play. Marco-Antonio Etcheverry struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Tulio Armendarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MOTILONES FC. The MOTILONES FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when MOTILONES FC's Rodrigo De Paul looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matapalito eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
