Etxekopar Carreira started the match with the kick off. The Matapalito fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Matapalito's Jairo Caras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 7 minutes, Cebo Millares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matapalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cebo Millares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rik Valiño in the 10th minute of play forced Inter Latino FC's goalkeeper Xayveon Zayas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Matapalito got a freekick which was hit by Rik Valiño. 14 minutes into the match, Etxekopar Carreira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Matapalito's Tulio Armendarez. Tulio Armendarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domeka Ascarretazabal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xayveon Zayas. Inter Latino FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jairo Caras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Zayas having to interfere. If Cebo Millares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Etxekopar Carreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tulio Armendarez, 2-1. Jairo Caras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xayveon Zayas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Jairo Caras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Latino FC's Xayveon Zayas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tulio Armendarez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Charro Descapa. In the 47th minute of the match Domeka Ascarretazabal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xayveon Zayas skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when Jairo Caras made the kick off in the second half. Jairo Caras did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Xayveon Zayas 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Caras in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xayveon Zayas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xayveon Zayas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Caras's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Jairo Caras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xayveon Zayas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. A hard shot 78 in the game by Jairo Caras from a close distance when the talented Xayveon Zayas managed to make a qualified save. Inter Latino FC's players were relieved. Cebo Millares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Zayas having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Rik Valiño notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of Inter Latino FC's Xayveon Zayas. Xayveon Zayas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Caras in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xayveon Zayas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jairo Caras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Matapalito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Inter Latino FC throughout the match.
