The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Balbas was the one to do the kick off. The KARASUNO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Lopes Menor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 95 in the game by Raimundo Cordal from a close distance when the talented Lop Gallaiztegui managed to make a qualified save. AC Milan's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Rik Niño got a free kick in the 96th minute. Timoteo Inchausti shot from long distance in the 97th minute, but Lop Gallaiztegui was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The AC Milan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KARASUNO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
