Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Rapid City's Norberto Douglas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenneth Kessler charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth Kessler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Kenneth Kessler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bradly Tabor, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Hunter got free with Clay Pruett in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Craig Hamlin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Aidan Wong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Toney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clay Pruett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiley Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid City's zone, Lee Alford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clay Pruett came out of the goal and Lee Alford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Eddie Hunter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buckley Forest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Buckley Forest's Craig Hamlin in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 30th minute, Buckley Forest's Craig Hamlin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Clay Pruett was a little too slow when Craig Hamlin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0. Eddie Hunter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Rapid City's goal looked a bit too open when Craig Hamlin came free, but Clay Pruett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Craig Hamlin to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Eddie Hunter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clay Pruett was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Eddie Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clay Pruett having to interfere. When Daniel Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rapid City's protests and gave Daniel Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Rapid City got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Marquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Hunter in the 68th minute of play forced Rapid City's goalkeeper Clay Pruett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Rapid City's goal looked a bit too open when Craig Hamlin came free, but Clay Pruett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clay Pruett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Hunter in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Hunter in the 74th minute of play forced Rapid City's goalkeeper Clay Pruett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Norberto Douglas came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rapid City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Douglas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Rapid City getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Daniel Marquez hit a great ball. Clay Pruett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Hamlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rapid City's Clay Pruett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Hunter in the 92nd minute of play. When Buckley Forest's Eddie Hunter in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapid City's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Buckley Forest players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
