Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Joseph in the 4th minute of play forced Eupora's goalkeeper Dwight Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Eupora getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Whitney Tatum hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Carl Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munster's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dwight Rasmussen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Carl Joseph cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dwight Rasmussen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, Munster's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Daly came free, but Brice Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Evan Keyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brice Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Daly, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Hector Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwight Rasmussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Evan Keyes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eupora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evan Keyes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match, Micah Daly tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brice Grubb saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Calderon in the 32nd minute of play forced Eupora's goalkeeper Dwight Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lorenzo Esparza fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eupora's protests and gave Lorenzo Esparza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute Hector Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwight Rasmussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Munster's Hector Calderon got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evan Keyes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Brice Grubb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eupora. After the first half Munster were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Calderon made a kick off. Micah Daly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Eupora getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lorenzo Esparza hit a great ball. Evan Keyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Grubb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evan Keyes ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Joseph got free with Dwight Rasmussen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Hector Calderon came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Munster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Calderon couldn't finish the play. Eupora's Evan Keyes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Munster's Brice Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evan Keyes in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Eupora getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Lorenzo Esparza hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Eupora's goalkeeper Dwight Rasmussen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Joseph. If Hector Calderon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, one of Eupora:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eupora. The referee gave Munster a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tod Coker, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eupora's Dwight Rasmussen. 0-2. In the 82nd minute Micah Daly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micah Daly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Grubb having to interfere. The supporters of Eupora booed when Munster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Talley didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Micah Daly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brice Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evan Keyes in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Munster eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
