Winston Dunn took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jay Burkett. Jay Burkett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jay Burkett made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Danny Burrows sent off a good shot on target. Jay Burkett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Horner in the 14th minute of the match. Jay Burkett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winston Dunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Alvaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Spicer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Jay Burkett made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Erik Barrera sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Sorenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Spicer having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, STL City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Chaney to maneuver through the defense. Pottsgrove's Winston Dunn got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ty Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Rufus Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jay Burkett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jay Burkett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Barrera went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Danny Burrows shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Burkett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pottsgrove's Winston Dunn in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Weston Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Spicer having to interfere. Ty Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rufus Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Pottsgrove's goalkeeper Rufus Spicer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ty Taylor. Reynaldo Sorenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufus Spicer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glen Duarte in the 91st minute. Ty Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Spicer having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pottsgrove fans cheered their team off the field, for while STL City FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
