In the 10th minute, Albert Stroud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes, Little Elm FC's Alberto Vermudo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilmer Blackwell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Little Elm FC reached it. Jeremy Greene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abe Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Robby Hewitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Hanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Little Elm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Velasquez to maneuver through the defense. Wilmer Blackwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Abe Medina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilmer Blackwell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abe Medina to make the kick off. Ari Palacios struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rene Hanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weehawken. Rene Hanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robby Hewitt in the 68th minute of the match. A hard shot by Andre Ragsdale from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Rene Hanson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Shayne Blalock hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Alberto Vermudo in the 76th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Wilmer Blackwell's left hand side. Little Elm FC's Rene Hanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Little Elm FC from getting a goal against them. Wilmer Blackwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Francesco Velasquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abe Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Little Elm FC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Velasquez. If Robby Hewitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jospeh Boyles took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Rene Hanson to make any attempt to save it.
