The audience was convinced that Byron Russ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derick Moon was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. If Byron Russ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaun Levine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Derick Moon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dania's Byron Russ got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Tyler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trevor Bryant came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Tyler slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Byron Russ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derick Moon having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Dania's goalkeeper Trevor Bryant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mckinley Mock. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shaun Levine to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Carlos Tyler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ShoTek UTD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dania the free kick. Carlos Tyler hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, ShoTek UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Tyler to maneuver through the defense. Byron Russ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Darius Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Shaun Levine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derick Moon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Dania's Shaun Levine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Derick Moon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 80th minute, Shaun Levine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
