The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trent Correa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Odenton were furious when Johnny Hackett was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 40 minutes into the game, one of Odenton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half LA NOB FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Aldrich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Odenton's Jonathon Beam got control of the ball when Justin Ziegler tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Austin Hager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes, LA NOB FC's Justin Ziegler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathon Beam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. LA NOB FC's Everett Stiles was substituted for Orlando Aldrich. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Ziegler in the 93rd minute of play forced Odenton's goalkeeper Jonathon Beam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Odenton fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LA NOB FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
