Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thousand Oaks's Rodolfo Fuller started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute of the match, Rodolfo Fuller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jamel Dupre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Pelicans SC's Morgan Swanson got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Joshua Dugan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jamel Dupre. Pelicans SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joshua Dugan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelicans SC's goalkeeper Jamel Dupre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Fuller did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jamel Dupre 18 minutes into the match. Jamel Dupre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Dugan in the 21st minute of play. Devin Conley scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dallas Grove, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Thousand Oaks's Jamel Dupre threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joshua Dugan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dallas Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curt Dorsey in the 31st minute of play. Thousand Oaks's Dallas Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Conley in the 32nd minute of play. Dallas Grove came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelicans SC's Curt Dorsey. But to his dismay, Curt Dorsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devin Conley during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Devin Conley kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Thousand Oaks's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Dwyer came free, but Dallas Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Devin Conley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dallas Grove was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curt Dorsey made a kick off. Pelicans SC's Jamel Dupre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Dugan in the 52nd minute of play. Joshua Dugan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jamel Dupre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reuben Rasmussen fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelicans SC's protests and gave Reuben Rasmussen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Thousand Oaks booed when Pelicans SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reuben Rasmussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Pelicans SC got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Rasmussen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curt Dwyer got free with Dallas Grove in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Merchant charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Merchant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Thousand Oaks got a freekick which was hit by Richard Merchant. 74 minutes into the game, Curt Dwyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Dallas Grove was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Pelicans SC's Devin Conley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dallas Grove. Dallas Grove yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Dallas Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Rasmussen in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Pelicans SC's Devin Conley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dallas Grove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. 89 minutes into the match, Curt Dorsey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dallas Grove, 2-8.
