Dallas Grove was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Springfield Zips's Wilfred Hills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Springfield Zips from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Springfield Zips's protests and gave Aaron Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Rodolfo Fuller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thousand Oaks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Fuller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Fuller succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Wilfred Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Dugan in the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Joshua Dugan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thousand Oaks's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Dugan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfred Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Fuller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. In the 92nd minute, Springfield Zips's Brandon Polk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dallas Grove. Dallas Grove yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-4. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Springfield Zips players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
