Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoff Haines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neil Cortes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Healdsburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Robinson to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolland Wesley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Alec Dillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolland Wesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haleiwa's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Benjamin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolland Wesley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Devon Romano scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neil Cortes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geoff Haines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Cortes having to interfere. When Devon Romano came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Healdsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Devon Romano couldn't finish the play. Devon Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Healdsburg booed when Haleiwa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tory Fowler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Geoff Haines managed to get in a good position for a shot.
