An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrel Booker in the 23rd minute of play forced MONT€®®€Y's goalkeeper Boyce Dahlstrom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicholas McGee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eli Humphrey in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brendon Frazier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, MONT€®®€Y's Raymundo Bledsoe got a free kick in the 39th minute. Boyce Dahlstrom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darrel Booker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eli Humphrey in the 42nd minute of play forced Enochville's goalkeeper Brendon Frazier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicholas McGee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Frazier having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Enochville's goal looked a bit too open when Eli Humphrey came free, but Brendon Frazier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jackson Wade to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Darrel Booker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boyce Dahlstrom, 0-1. Jackson Wade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darrel Booker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Boyce Dahlstrom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MONT€®®€Y's zone, Jackson Wade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyce Dahlstrom came out of the goal and Jackson Wade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MONT€®®€Y's Boyce Dahlstrom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Wade in the 73rd minute of play. Jeff Pham walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Jackson Wade came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Enochville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jackson Wade couldn't finish the play. Raymond McGrath hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92nd play minutes Eli Humphrey shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Brendon Frazier and just under the crossbar into goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
