John Rodriquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Ayers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darell Gallo having to interfere. AC Milan's Darell Gallo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. If John Rodriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, AC Milan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John Rodriquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 13th minute, DeMarcus Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AC Milan's Darell Gallo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Rodriquez got free with Darell Gallo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Ayers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Darell Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, AC Milan's Cristopher Delarosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Nash narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Orland AFC booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stacy Chappelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Rodriquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Thomas Ayers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darell Gallo came out of the goal and Thomas Ayers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristopher Delarosa in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, AC Milan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thomas Ayers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 39 minutes into the game, Wes Love was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orland AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Milan the free kick. Guillermo Goldsmith shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Bradley Hawkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Ayers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Ayers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Thomas Ayers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orland AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If John Rodriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Rodriquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darell Gallo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Cristopher Delarosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Cristopher Delarosa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Orland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristopher Delarosa came free, but Wilfredo Nash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darell Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Ayers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. DeMarcus Palmer hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Rodriquez in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darell Gallo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Orland AFC's corner Aaron Levine fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Darell Gallo quite easily take care of the ball. Wilfredo Nash made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Bradley Hawkins sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Thomas Ayers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darell Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
