If Nicholas McGee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas McGee struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Chris Singletary didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONT€®®€Y. In the 8th minute, Eli Humphrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rory Doty got free with Boyce Dahlstrom in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Devon Swanson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boyce Dahlstrom. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Devon Swanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyce Dahlstrom having to interfere. Federal Way's Chris Singletary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas McGee in the 26th minute of play. Chris Singletary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eli Humphrey in the 28th minute of the match. Devon Swanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, MONT€®®€Y's Boyce Dahlstrom got control of the ball when Ramiro Maurer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Devon Swanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyce Dahlstrom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes MONT€®®€Y got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Sherman. Devon Swanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boyce Dahlstrom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Swanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devon Swanson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chris Singletary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicholas McGee in the 52nd minute. Nicholas McGee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Chris Singletary made a huge save. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Federal Way's goalkeeper Chris Singletary, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MONT€®®€Y's Nicholas McGee got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rory Doty hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Chris Singletary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eli Humphrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Nicholas McGee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Singletary having to interfere. If Ramiro Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky Spivey's late challenge caught a Federal Way's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricky Spivey helped the player get up and apologised. When Ramiro Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Federal Way fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Maurer couldn't finish the play. A collision led to MONT€®®€Y getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Boyd Fraser hit a great ball. Rory Doty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Boyce Dahlstrom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyce Dahlstrom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Maurer in the 95th minute of the match. Devon Swanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Federal Way were the better team. Federal Way's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
