Spectators: 5215 (Terracing: 4010, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 5) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tanner Tripp got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Tanner Tripp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boston Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanner Tripp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Kyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by D.J. Allred during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Boston Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by D.J. Allred to maneuver through the defense. Harvey Greene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Boston Celtics's zone, Steve Connors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walker Babcock came out of the goal and Steve Connors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18th play minutes Tanner Tripp shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Norberto Kyle and just under the crossbar into goal. Tanner Tripp took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Kyle. Norberto Kyle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Rancho Cordova FC's Benedict Coffman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. With his leg Walker Babcock managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Rancho Cordova FC's Steve Connors fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Walker Babcock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Connors in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rancho Cordova FC's goalkeeper Norberto Kyle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DeMarcus Leon didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After the first half Boston Celtics were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benedict Coffman made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Boston Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warner Jensen to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Steve Connors had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walker Babcock. Boston Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Connors was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Boston Celtics's Walker Babcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict Coffman in the 65th minute of play. Benedict Coffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walker Babcock having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Tanner Tripp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boston Celtics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Warner Jensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedict Coffman struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Walker Babcock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancho Cordova FC. Walker Babcock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedict Coffman in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Tanner Tripp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boston Celtics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanner Tripp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Boston Celtics players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
