Mohammad Braswell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cason Cedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Cason Cedillo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Riverside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cason Cedillo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chad Costa in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Chavez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Derrick Goldstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anson Regan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Virgil Morton fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverside's protests and gave Virgil Morton a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Sporting Club Llobregat's Mohammad Braswell got control of the ball when Derrick Goldstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Riverside booed when Sporting Club Llobregat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrell Willoughby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riverside's Shawn Chavez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anson Regan in the 76th minute of play.
