Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lincoln Herndon kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind American Falls FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Elliott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Clint Friend's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Elliott was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Aurelio Landis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Thomson. Menlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Landis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Robbie Phipps came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the American Falls FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbie Phipps couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Reyes in the 13th minute of play forced Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clint Friend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Oscar Reyes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Thomson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Reyes in the 27th minute of play forced Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Menlo's Winston Fraser seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Winston Fraser the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Menlo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Winston Fraser had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ali Thomson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Nava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Aurelio Landis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ali Thomson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ali Thomson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Landis in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Aurelio Landis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Thomson. Menlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Landis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, American Falls FC's Oscar Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Thomson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 46 minutes into the match, Aurelio Landis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Thomson. Menlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Landis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After the first half American Falls FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Reyes to make the kick off. Napoleon Elliott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ned Turner in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Sewell in the 56th minute of play forced Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to American Falls FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Napoleon Perkins hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, American Falls FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ned Turner came free, but Napoleon Elliott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Landis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ali Thomson made a huge save. With a little luck, Menlo's Ali Thomson got control of the ball when Aurelio Landis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Landis scored 0-8 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Thomson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Garth Hamilton kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Emmanuel Bolton fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menlo's protests and gave Emmanuel Bolton a yellow card for diving instead. Emmanuel Bolton hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Aurelio Landis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Thomson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Aurelio Landis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ali Thomson made a huge save. Ali Thomson made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aurelio Landis sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded American Falls FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Menlo.
