Kent Patrick might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dwayne Beatty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Patrick ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Kent Patrick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dwayne Beatty was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 12th minute, Jefferson Springer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Pulaski's Dwayne Beatty got control of the ball when Nazil Tokur tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kent Patrick came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Vice Croydon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Patrick couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Kent Patrick got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 22 minutes into the match, Pulaski's goal looked a bit too open when Jess Hinkle came free, but Dwayne Beatty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pulaski's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Patrick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee gave Vice Croydon AFC a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joey Ryder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pulaski's Dwayne Beatty. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Vice Croydon AFC's Jess Hinkle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dwayne Beatty. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. Mark Watt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Riley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Riley to make the kick off. Nazil Tokur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dwayne Beatty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jess Hinkle might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dwayne Beatty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jess Hinkle ran back to his position shaking his head. Mark Watt was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Jefferson Springer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jefferson Springer really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Jess Hinkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwayne Beatty having to interfere. Kent Patrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dwayne Beatty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vice Croydon AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
