In the 8th minute, Cyrus Friedman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chad Stringer, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as WPB Gators FC's Rory Whittington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chad Stringer. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 13th minute Jack Huang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Rushing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cali Pumas FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jonah Parson hit a great ball. Gerry Ivey lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gerry Ivey kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Bronson Tang sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and WPB Gators FC's Connor Rushing didn't even have to move. 24 minutes into the match, Santiago Denson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of WPB Gators FC's Connor Rushing. Connor Rushing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cyrus Friedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, WPB Gators FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sterling Bentley came free, but Connor Rushing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Jay Simpson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Schumacher in the 33rd minute of play forced WPB Gators FC's goalkeeper Connor Rushing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WPB Gators FC's Nigel Keller quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bronson Tang, made in the 37th minute of the game. Cyrus Friedman took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chad Stringer. Chad Stringer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Connor Rushing came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cali Pumas FC's Sterling Bentley. But to his dismay, Sterling Bentley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Cyrus Friedman notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Cali Pumas FC's Chad Stringer. Chad Stringer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santiago Denson's late challenge caught a WPB Gators FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Denson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Santiago Denson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Bronson Tang in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WPB Gators FC's Cyrus Friedman. When Walter Sweeney fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WPB Gators FC's protests and gave Walter Sweeney a yellow card for diving instead. Walter Sweeney kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Cyrus Friedman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Cyrus Friedman put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Chad Stringer. Connor Rushing made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Sterling Bentley sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, WPB Gators FC's goalkeeper Connor Rushing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Schumacher. In the 91st match minute, WPB Gators FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Keller to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Huang in the 92nd minute of play forced WPB Gators FC's goalkeeper Connor Rushing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cali Pumas FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because WPB Gators FC had won, even though Cali Pumas FC had held more of the ball.
