Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Valle made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Waldo Beyer sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute Danial Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kelly Trevino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soldotna's Kelly Trevino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Blue in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deshawn Cano in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Vega in the 17th minute of play forced Soldotna's goalkeeper Kelly Trevino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Hull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rafael Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Scott Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kelly Trevino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danial Vega in the 25th minute of the match. Rafael Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deshawn Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Waylon Napier hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Soldotna defense, Danial Vega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kelly Trevino. The Soldotna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kelly Trevino should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Scott Blue stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danial Vega got free with Kelly Trevino in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Waylon Napier fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soldotna's protests and gave Waylon Napier a yellow card for diving instead. Waylon Napier hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kelly Trevino made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Danial Vega sent off a good shot on target. Kelly Trevino was a little too slow when Scott Blue got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-3. Kelly Trevino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. United's Jose Irizarry made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kelly Trevino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 96 played minutes D.C. United got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Dobbins. D.C. United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
