Felippe Sabino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Gora in the 3rd minute of the match. Nelson Haedo took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felippe Sabino. Felippe Sabino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 10 minutes MANIACOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denis Inestrosa who took care of the corner kick. Millano Corroto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Haedo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe Sabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Aguilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Millano Corroto's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 31st minute of play forced MANIACOS's goalkeeper Felippe Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MANIACOS booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Soned didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, MANIACOS's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Haedo came free, but Felippe Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, MANIACOS's Felippe Sabino got control of the ball when Edmund Lidberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Roque Gora was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Olimpia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MANIACOS the free kick. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Roque Gora hit a great ball. Felippe Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Gora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Haedo made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, MANIACOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Mansilla to maneuver through the defense. Denis Inestrosa, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Millano Corroto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Aguilar having to interfere. MANIACOS's Felippe Sabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Lidberg in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Gora in the 63rd minute of play forced MANIACOS's goalkeeper Felippe Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson Haedo succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. MANIACOS made a substitution. Radu Bleoancă replaced Millano Corroto. In the 73rd minute Nelson Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Olimpia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Montay Villatreses scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Aguilar, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 85th minute of play forced MANIACOS's goalkeeper Felippe Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when MANIACOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Bleoancă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felippe Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Roque Gora sped through MANIACOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felippe Sabino.
