In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lav Zivotinja's goalkeeper Diego Peter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warner Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Darrell Overton came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darrell Overton scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Perez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Lav Zivotinja's goalkeeper Diego Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arden Poulin. Warner Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Diego Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Persepolis F.C.'s Diego Peter threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Avery Merrill, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 28th minute Michel Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avery Merrill struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Diego Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Persepolis F.C.. 33 minutes into the game, Michel Anaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Santos Perez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lav Zivotinja's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dominic Delgado was slow to take the kick. During this time Persepolis F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Persepolis F.C.'s Dominic Delgado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Peter in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Lav Zivotinja's zone, Arden Poulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Peter came out of the goal and Arden Poulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darrell Overton in the 44th minute of the match. Geraldo Gadbois hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Warner Anaya to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Dutton in the 54th minute of the match. Lav Zivotinja's Diego Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warner Anaya in the 56th minute of play. If Avery Merrill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Herbert Lilly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arden Poulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Peter having to interfere. Diego Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warner Anaya in the 66th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Warner Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Persepolis F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Persepolis F.C.'s Warner Anaya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Dutton in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Peter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes of play, Persepolis F.C.'s Abraham Dutton made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Peter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, Lav Zivotinja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Lereau to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Peter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Persepolis F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
