Toculla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Casanova was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Vivero charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Igor Casanova managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toculla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Casanova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Raglianti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Toculla FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Vivero. Luis Eduardo Mantilla struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vicente Raglianti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toculla FC. In the 37th minute, Igor Casanova fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Igor Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Casanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Raglianti having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Casanova to make the kick off. Toculla FC's Rollo Moron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elías Bazan in the 70th minute of play. Flavio Pratt took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Raglianti. Vicente Raglianti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Casanova in the 84th minute of play forced Caraguane FC's goalkeeper Vicente Raglianti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Caraguane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Mesina to maneuver through the defense. Toculla FC's Luis Eduardo Mantilla got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Javier Paris charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
