Natanael Brown made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Beturian in the 4th minute of play. Natanael Brown didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frédson Cosme went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Colo-colo's Joaquin Pratt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Conrado Mahuzier in the 9 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Beturian in the 11th minute of play forced Colo-colo's goalkeeper Natanael Brown to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Cosme scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Brown, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natanael Brown made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Toscano in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Toscano in the 19th minute of play forced Colo-colo's goalkeeper Natanael Brown to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Colo-colo defense, Frédson Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natanael Brown. The Colo-colo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natanael Brown should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Hector Beturian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beyond Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Colo-colo were furious when Lolo Vivero was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Beyond Glory booed when Colo-colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lolo Vivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Brown didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darío Lattapiat went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Beyond Glory's Hugo Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Brown narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Natanael Brown made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Cosme in the 38th minute of play. Natanael Brown showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Beyond Glory's Hector Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natanael Brown made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Beyond Glory's Jacinto Gorbea was substituted for Hector Beturian. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Toscano was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Frédson Cosme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Natanael Brown was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Darío Lattapiat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Brown saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frédson Cosme took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Brown. Natanael Brown dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Hugo Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Natanael Brown tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Darío Lattapiat rounded Colo-colo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-12. Natanael Brown made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darío Lattapiat in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Frédson Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 82 played minutes Colo-colo got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Masson. Natanael Brown was a little too slow when Frédson Cosme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-16. Colo-colo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Hugo Toscano scored to the left of an out of position Natanael Brown, making the score, 0-18. 93 minutes into the game, Hugo Toscano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natanael Brown. Hugo Toscano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-19. 96 minutes into the match, Colo-colo's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Gorbea came free, but Natanael Brown reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
