Natanael Brown showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Serrano in the 26th minute of the match. Colo-colo's Natanael Brown played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Cristóbal Doursther in the 28th minute of play. Natanael Brown showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Cristóbal Doursther, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. CONEJO VELOZ's Silvio Serrano got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estevan Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Cañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes, CONEJO VELOZ's Rogerio Bocanegra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Brown came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CONEJO VELOZ reached it. The supporters of Colo-colo booed when CONEJO VELOZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Cristóbal Doursther didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, André Luiz de Carvalho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colo-colo's Vasco Masson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 46th match minute, Colo-colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Casanova to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Natanael Brown made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Cristóbal Doursther in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Colo-colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Masson to maneuver through the defense. André Luiz de Carvalho hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ismael Nazario Cisternas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 67 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Estevan Paul right hand side. Juan Cristóbal Doursther received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natanael Brown came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Cristóbal Doursther slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. Estevan Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Nazario Cisternas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, André Luiz de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, CONEJO VELOZ's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Cañas came free, but Estevan Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasino Zubicueta struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Estevan Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo-colo. 83 minutes into the match, Colo-colo's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Serrano came free, but Natanael Brown reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Ravest could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Natanael Brown made a huge save. Natanael Brown came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by CONEJO VELOZ's Eulalio Ravest. But to his dismay, Eulalio Ravest quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CONEJO VELOZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
