Jerzy Kapera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Cosme in the 9th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Beyond Glory got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Gorbea. Jerzy Kapera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match Beyond Glory got a corner. Sotaqui FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado Mahuzier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jerzy Kapera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Lattapiat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Jesus Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerzy Kapera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Toscano in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Pedro Tomás Monroy took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gaspar Ripamonti to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darío Lattapiat in the 31st minute of play forced Sotaqui FC's goalkeeper Jerzy Kapera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Jonatan Bombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sotaqui FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beyond Glory the free kick. The supporters of Beyond Glory booed when Sotaqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Bombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Darío Lattapiat made a precise shot to the right of Jerzy Kapera. Sotaqui FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 40th minute, Hugo Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Kapera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Carlos Saúl Marzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Saúl Marzi to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Carlos Saúl Marzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Ripamonti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Darío Lattapiat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Kapera having to interfere. With a little luck, Sotaqui FC's Jerzy Kapera got control of the ball when Hugo Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Toscano got free with Jerzy Kapera in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Sotaqui FC's Jerzy Kapera got control of the ball when Hugo Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beyond Glory played a much better game than Sotaqui FC and deserved their victory. The Sotaqui FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
