Elias de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Almir Torres elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Juvenal Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Fantini in the 20th minute of play. Dorian Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Juvenal Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Barre Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Capixaba came free, but Elias de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feirinha's goalkeeper Juvenal Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cláudio Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Soares having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, one of Feirinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Romeo Escobar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Christian Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Wilian Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barre Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Feirinha's Eusébio Magalhães got a free kick in the 97th minute.
