Sampaio Correa AFC's Moisés Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Mattos in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Giuseppe Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Giuseppe Mattos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glycerio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Moisés Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Donato in the 10th minute of play. Moisés Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Reis in the 11th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Reis scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sampaio Correa AFC's Moisés Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Reis in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Glycerio's Carlos Augusto Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Moisés Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Pinho in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Nuno Vieira notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Sampaio Correa AFC's Moisés Rodrigues. Moisés Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Téo Pinho scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moisés Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moisés Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Reis in the 46th minute of play forced Sampaio Correa AFC's goalkeeper Moisés Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Mattos notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Sampaio Correa AFC's Moisés Rodrigues. Moisés Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Vargas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sampaio Correa AFC's Moisés Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Sampaio Correa AFC from getting a goal against them. Moisés Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Reis in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Sampaio Correa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Pinho in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Tarcisio Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Glycerio's Nuno Donato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moisés Rodrigues. Moisés Rodrigues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. After 76 played minutes Sampaio Correa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Vargas. Giuseppe Mattos took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Rodrigues. Moisés Rodrigues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Sampaio Correa AFC's Moisés Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sampaio Correa AFC from getting a goal against them. Moisés Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Nuno Donato sent off a good shot on target. Glycerio played a much better game than Sampaio Correa AFC and deserved their victory. The Sampaio Correa AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
