Benê Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Marquez came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético RS's Benê Medeiros. But to his dismay, Benê Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Lokomotiv Football Art's Noel Maranhense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natanael Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Carlos Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Lokomotiv Football Art fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Cardoso couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Noel Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Football Art's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Carlos Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zézinho Marquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Waldir Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Carlos Cardoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Natanael Sousa having to interfere. Natanael Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Cardoso in the 57th minute of the match. Zézinho Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zézinho Marquez having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Noel Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natanael Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Cardoso in the 87th minute of play. Carlos Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Sousa having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Lokomotiv Football Art got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Valadares. 95 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Quadros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiv Football Art's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético RS the free kick. A collision led to Lokomotiv Football Art getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Quadros hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético RS had won after a very even match.
