The audience was convinced that Maurinho Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Lucas was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo de Sena in the 21st minute of play forced Zuera F.C. Franklin Lucas came out of the goal and Maurinho Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee gave Campistão FC a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adriano Abreu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zuera F.C. Xnb's Franklin Lucas. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Trigo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Maurinho Vasconcelos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franklin Lucas, 0-4. Maurinho Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Ramiro Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Severino Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Zuera F.C. Xnb's Severino Trigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that He Yu Ying narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Severino Trigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuera F.C. Xnb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.
