GALÁTICOS's Dorival Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Freire in the 6th minute of play. Fernandinho de Godoi's late challenge caught a Traicao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandinho de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Fernandinho de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, GALÁTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Freire came free, but Dorival Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes GALÁTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho de Godoi. After 13 minutes, Samuel Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALÁTICOS and the Traicao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Afonso Dante, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luís Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Silva having to interfere. Kiko Schmidt came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Silva could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Arruda was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, GALÁTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Luz came free, but Dorival Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Silva having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Falcão in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kiko Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Traicao's Mauro Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Falcão in the 35th minute of play. Jonathan Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dorival Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldir Luz to make the kick off. Jonathan Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dorival Arruda made a huge save. GALÁTICOS's Samuel Nascimento got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Samuel Nascimento off the ground. In the 57th match minute, GALÁTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Freire took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Arruda. Dorival Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonathan Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Arruda having to interfere. Mauro Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Falcão in the 77th minute of play forced Traicao's goalkeeper Mauro Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Traicao's Mauro Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Schmidt in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Alfredinho Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Luís Falcão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Waldir Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Arruda having to interfere. A collision led to GALÁTICOS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Fernandinho de Godoi hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, GALÁTICOS's goalkeeper Dorival Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Freire. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by GALÁTICOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Dante was slow to take the kick. During this time Traicao's players had a chance to rest. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
