Chico Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Donato de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carutapera AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ice Boys Football the free kick. Chico Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Waldemar Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Tróia having to interfere. When Chico Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Carutapera AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the game Tadeu Mangueira made a throw-in which Jorginho Lopes played forward. Chico Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Waldemar Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carutapera AD. Claudinho Bastos's late challenge caught a Carutapera AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ice Boys Football getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Claudinho Bastos hit a great ball. Michel Matos didn't quite understand what happened when in the 34 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Chico Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Waldemar Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Ice Boys Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Carutapera AD's Michel Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorginho Lopes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Carutapera AD's Chico Ribeiro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Benjamin Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carutapera AD's protests and gave Benjamin Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Benjamin Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Donato de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carutapera AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Diniz's late challenge caught a Carutapera AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by Tadeu Mangueira in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Carutapera AD's Donato de Amorim. 67 minutes into the match, Ice Boys Football's goal looked a bit too open when Donato de Amorim came free, but Waldemar Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Ice Boys Football got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Lopes. The throw-in from Tadeu Mangueira in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Carutapera AD's Donato de Amorim. Claudinho Bastos got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Claudinho Bastos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Chico Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carutapera AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carutapera AD's Chico Ribeiro managed to work through Ice Boys Football's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Chico Ribeiro dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 81 minutes into the match, Chico Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ice Boys Football's Waldemar Tróia. Waldemar Tróia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ice Boys Football's Waldemar Tróia got control of the ball when Chico Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chico Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Waldemar Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carutapera AD. The Carutapera AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carutapera AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
