Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valério Faria started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute of the match Augusto Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anderson Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Ana Terra getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fabrício Arantes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Valério Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ana Terra's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 19 minutes, Artur de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Red Ale Perdizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ana Terra's Anderson Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Sanches in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Red Ale Perdizes's zone, Valério Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Nunes came out of the goal and Valério Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC Red Ale Perdizes's Artur de Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Diniz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ana Terra's Anderson Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Sanches in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Fabrício Arantes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of FC Red Ale Perdizes booed when Ana Terra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Fabrício Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Frédson Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes in the game, Valério Faria fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frédson Nunes having to interfere. Fabrício Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Nunes having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dráusio Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Anderson Diniz made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Valério Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Nunes was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 65th minute Fabrício Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Anderson Diniz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anderson Diniz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Rafa Arósio sent off a good shot on target. Anderson Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Sanches in the 71st minute of play. When Ana Terra's Valério Faria in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 84th minute, Fabrício Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frédson Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Ana Terra getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Valério Faria hit a great ball. Anderson Diniz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Artur de Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Ana Terra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
