In the 12th minute of the match, Holger Zachrisson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romulo Viator saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Portuguesa booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel De Rijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Carneiro came free, but Jorginho Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David de Alcântara replaced Holger Zachrisson. 余霖正 took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Viator. Romulo Viator dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Kaká Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jorginho Vaz made a huge save. Jorginho Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Shu Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dadá Sousa during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Portuguesa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
