The Gol Legal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Benê Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahia City's Keilor Navas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gol Legal FC booed when Bahia City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Bahia City's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Recife came free, but Keilor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benê Recife to make the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Gol Legal FC's Benê Recife made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keilor Navas was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Benê Recife came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Gol Legal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benê Recife couldn't finish the play. Benê Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Keilor Navas made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benê Recife in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keilor Navas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keilor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Bahia City's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Recife came free, but Keilor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bahia City's zone, Pedro Luís Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keilor Navas came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gol Legal FC made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Capixaba replaced Jannis Van Hove. Gol Legal FC made a substitution. Betinho Gerber replaced Falcão Matorin. In the 87th minute Gol Legal FC were awarded a corner. Allan Prestes went to the cornerflag to take it. If Geovani Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 90 in the game by Benê Recife from a close distance when the talented Keilor Navas managed to make a qualified save. Bahia City's players were relieved. After 91 minutes, José Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahia City and the Gol Legal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Tepedino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gol Legal FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
