Clube Atlético Paulista's Cauan Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Siqueira in the 8th minute of play. Samuel Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Wilton Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Paulista. Geovani de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Pereira having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Sérgio Seco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilton Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Viracao's goalkeeper Wilton Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto de Andrade. Wilton Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani de Toledo in the 25th minute of play. Wilton Pereira made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Augusto de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Viracao's zone, Dida Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilton Pereira came out of the goal and Dida Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Viracao got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Siqueira. Wilton Pereira made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dida Félix sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Viracao getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paulão Siqueira hit a great ball. Wilton Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Félix in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Samuel Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Wilton Pereira. Viracao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Félix was the one to do the kick off. Wilton Pereira came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Paulista's Dida Félix. But to his dismay, Dida Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 63 minutes into the game, Clube Atlético Paulista's Fabiano Vargas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilton Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Reis couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Caetano Valladares sped through Viracao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilton Pereira. Caetano Valladares succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 14-0. After 92 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Sérgio Seco made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilton Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Sérgio Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilton Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clube Atlético Paulista had played much better football throughout.
