The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto de Andrade got free with Sidnei Vidal in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidnei Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Félix to make the kick off. Clube Atlético Paulista's Cauan Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Kornecki in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Atlético Paulista fully deserved thier win.
