Caetano Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Almeida having to make a save. The Xiboquinha FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Xiboquinha FC's Caetano Simões looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rigbiz FC's Adelino Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Simões in the 38th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Tiquinho Soares managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Caetano Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Xiboquinha FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiquinho Soares made a kick off. Caetano Simões had several of the Rigbiz FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Adelino Almeida as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Simões got free with Adelino Almeida in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes, Anselmo Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rigbiz FC and the Xiboquinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Rigbiz FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Valadares. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Caetano Simões got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Caetano Simões succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-13 in the 93rd playminute. Xiboquinha FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
