The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiquinho Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. When Caetano Simões got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Amos Nero was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Caetano Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Nero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caetano Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Caetano Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Nero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Nero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Andrey Villasante made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Moisés Carvalho however managed to control. In the 92nd minute, Caetano Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Xiboquinha FC's Sílvio Favoretto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sílvio Favoretto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Xiboquinha FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sílvio Favoretto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 98th minute, Sydney Antunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Xiboquinha FC's Dibag Martinez didn't even have to move.
