Jakob Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute of the match Santos City got a corner. Condors F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexsandro Dionísio ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Zárate in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakob Jansson saved Condors F.C. from getting behind. Jakob Jansson was a little too slow when Wander de Carvalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 26th minute, Aílton de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Macedo in the 27th minute of play forced Santos City's goalkeeper Rogelio Aurken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Santos City's Jakob Jansson threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wander de Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jakob Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Andrade in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Santos City booed when Condors F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos City's Eleuterio Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eleuterio Galo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Condors F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Galo came free, but Jakob Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 minutes, Edmílson Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Condors F.C. and the Santos City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleuterio Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jakob Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos City made a substitution. Umberto Mangueira replaced Adilson Andrade. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Timurhan in the 73rd minute of play forced Condors F.C.'s goalkeeper Jakob Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Condors F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edmílson Urbano hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santos City fully deserved thier win.
