Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wander de Carvalho in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Risca Faca IMT defense, Adilson Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho Sarmento. The Risca Faca IMT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho Sarmento should have stopped the shot. Vitinho Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Zárate in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Gaston Zárate made a precise shot to the right of Vitinho Sarmento. Risca Faca IMT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The corner led Risca Faca IMT's Leopoldo Azevedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Rogelio Aurken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th minute Wander de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Risca Faca IMT's Maunu Parkkonen got a free kick in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Andrade came free, but Vitinho Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Santos City defense, Leopoldo Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Aurken. The Santos City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Aurken should have stopped the shot. Vitinho Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Zárate in the 28th minute of play. Nilton Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute Adilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Aurken acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leopoldo Azevedo. Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Zárate in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Valério Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos City's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes of play, Santos City's Adilson Andrade made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitinho Sarmento was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the game, Gaston Zárate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Vitinho Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Gaston Zárate might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitinho Sarmento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Zárate ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Aurken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Andrade came free, but Vitinho Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Aparecido in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leopoldo Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Risca Faca IMT's players had a chance to rest. Vitinho Sarmento was a little too slow when Adilson Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-5. Vitinho Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Zárate in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Andrade came free, but Vitinho Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aílton de Barros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Risca Faca IMT's Elmārs Bevalds was substituted for Leopoldo Azevedo. Santos City's Umberto Mangueira was substituted for Adilson Andrade. The supporters of Risca Faca IMT booed when Santos City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romário Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umberto Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Vitinho Sarmento made a huge save. Romário Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rogelio Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Maunu Parkkonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Risca Faca IMT and the Santos City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Risca Faca IMT got a freekick which was hit by Maunu Parkkonen. Caner Timurhan scored 1-6 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitinho Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Santos City played a much better game than Risca Faca IMT and deserved their victory. The Risca Faca IMT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
