Kazimierz Domala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Pistolero Tricolor FC's Fang Bing Lei got control of the ball when Lucas Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Pistolero Tricolor FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Thiago Xavier hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Pistolero Tricolor FC's Kazimierz Domala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 26th match minute, Olímpico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Galvão to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Aiach made a kick off. If Kazimierz Domala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovânio Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Domala, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Olímpico FC's Pedro Luiz de Barros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Armando Bela, made in the 66th minute of the game. After 69 played minutes Olímpico FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz de Barros. Geovânio Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Domala in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Pistolero Tricolor FC's Jairo Domingues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovânio Hoffmann. Geovânio Hoffmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The supporters of Olímpico FC booed when Pistolero Tricolor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Lucas Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olímpico FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Fang Bing Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Kazimierz Domala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Olímpico FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pistolero Tricolor FC to win.
