André Hoffmann came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simão Cunha could save by the left post. Simão Cunha came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Litoral EC - CIMZ's Jonathan Petri. But to his dismay, Jonathan Petri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luiz Quirino made the kick off in the second half. Simão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Hoffmann in the 52nd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Cardozo got free with Kıvanç Bengi in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Quirino came free, but Kıvanç Bengi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
