With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Simão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omid Kaulbach in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Corneliu Dridu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Cunha. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corneliu Dridu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Favoretto in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dr Lecter SC's Mauro Romero. Simão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Rafael Favoretto in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun. In the 30th minute Omid Kaulbach suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Norberto Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Norberto Vergílio hit a great ball. Luiz Fabiano Pitta struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Simão Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr Lecter SC. 38 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's Luiz Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Corneliu Dridu made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Vale struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Simão Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr Lecter SC. Luiz Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 63rd minute of play forced ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Favoretto. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Duarte came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Celso Trevisan could save by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Dridu came free, but Simão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dr Lecter SC's Philip Rosendal was substituted for Ma Wei Jun. 84 minutes into the match, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Vale came free, but Simão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dr Lecter SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
