Ezequiel Pereira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Celso Trevisan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Dr Lecter SC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cain Velasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Berker Başhekim. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan got control of the ball when Ezequiel Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Berker Başhekim sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute of the match Lobo Guará got a corner. Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Lobo Guará's Glauco Tasso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Trevisan. Celso Trevisan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Fernandez came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Cardoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celso Trevisan. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Glauco Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Rodolfo Soares with Nando Barbosa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Corneliu Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Omid Kaulbach didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 81st minute. Dr Lecter SC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Lobo Guará's Berker Başhekim managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basilio Bilbo in the 85 minute of the game. After having played for 86 minutes, Nando Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobo Guará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Di Fabrizio in the 89th minute of play. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Dr Lecter SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 94th minute. It was a well-played corner which Omid Kaulbach managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Celso Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dr Lecter SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lobo Guará.
